Kat Plaza is a senior Executive Editor who also writes for the news section. Encouraged by her brother, a sports editor at the time, Kat joined The Current her freshman year and has stuck with it ever since because of her passion for writing and highlighting different areas of her community. Outside of The Current, Kat loves running, scuba diving, and playing softball.
