Cynthia Swope served as the faculty adviser of the Current from 1994-2019. She is thrilled that some of her former writers and editors are now Potomac parents! She and her husband Perry Swope, Potomac’s transportation, security and special projects director, have had two children graduate from Potomac. A devoted French teacher who loves to garden and cook, she comes from a family of newspaper publishers, and her favorite thing to do is to read the whole print newspaper every morning before school with a mug of black coffee.
