The name “Glass Onion” is highly appropriate for this thrilling murder mystery. We get to watch the many layers peel back to reveal a shocking twist. This sequel to “Knives Out” outshines the original. Daniel Craig remains in the lead role, but the remaining ensemble cast is all new and they deliver amazing performances. Glass Onion’s great balance of mystery and comedy makes it exceptionally entertaining.

Surprisingly, Glass Onion only garnered a box office of only $15 million, compared to “Knives Ou’st” $313 million. However, those who see the movie love it, judging from its 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Writer and Director, Rian Johnson keeps the movie captivating while making sure to deviate from the original. Johnson’s writing makes the most minute details consequential. Overall this movie delivers a killer storyline and amazing performances throughout.
